The plain-English terms.

The short version

  • • Velur reads your tools and writes you a brief, it never changes anything.
  • • It's not financial advice; the decisions stay yours.
  • • It's early and provided as is while in beta, we'll be honest about that.
  • • Accounts are hand-onboarded in cohorts; you're responsible for keeping your login secure.
  • • Use it in good faith; you can leave and delete your data anytime.

1. Our site and how you get an account

By using velur.io or the Velur product you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use them. You must be able to form a binding contract (broadly, 18 or older) to use Velur.

Velur currently onboards customers by hand, in cohorts, rather than through open self-serve signup — that's a deliberate choice, not a limitation we're hiding: we connect each brand's tools ourselves so the first brief you ever see is accurate, not just fast. "Join the waitlist" tells us you're interested and gets you in line; when your cohort opens, we create your account by hand and send you sign-in credentials directly.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable licence to use the site and product for your business. Please don't scrape it, reverse-engineer it, resell it, attack its security, or try to reach data that isn't yours. We may improve, change, or discontinue parts of the service over time.

2. Your account and credentials

Once your account exists, sign-in runs on Supabase Auth — see our Privacy Notice, Section 3, for exactly how that works. In practical terms:

  • You're responsible for keeping your password confidential and for anything that happens through your account. Tell us immediately at hello@velur.io if you suspect unauthorised access.
  • Accounts are for the business that was onboarded, not for resale or sharing with unrelated parties. Multiple people at the same company are welcome — talk to us about adding seats.
  • We can suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, poses a security risk, or where we reasonably believe the access granted to connected tools was not the customer's to give.
  • You can ask us to close your account and delete your data at any time; see the Privacy Notice for how that works and how long it takes.

3. About the AI

Velur uses AI to turn your data into a written brief. AI can be wrong or incomplete. Treat its output as decision support, not as a guarantee, and use your own judgement before acting. We work hard to make every number traceable to its source so you can check it.

4. What Velur is, and is not

Velur is a read-only intelligence layer: it reads the tools your business runs and reports back. It never moves money, places orders, sends messages, or changes anything in your connected accounts. It is not financial, legal, tax, or investment advice. Figures and examples on this website are illustrative, not a promise of results.

5. Proprietary rights

The content, design and code of this website and product belong to Velur. Your business data, and anything you create with the product, remain entirely yours, we claim no ownership over them. If you send us feedback or ideas, you allow us to use them to improve Velur without obligation.

6. Plans, fees and customer terms

A paid engagement is governed by a separate customer agreement, which takes precedence over anything here if they conflict. Pricing, billing and cancellation are set out in that agreement; you can cancel and take your data with you. If no separate agreement exists yet (for example, during a trial or early cohort), these terms alone govern your use until one is signed.

7. Privacy and security

How we handle data is described in full in our Privacy Notice, which forms part of these terms by reference. In short: read-only access to your connected tools, EU hosting, raw customer data that never leaves our database and never reaches the AI model, account sign-in through Supabase Auth with no plain-text password storage, and delete-anytime control.

We use industry-standard security practices — encryption, tenant isolation, least-privilege access — though no system is perfectly secure, and we don't claim otherwise.

8. Third-party links and services

The site and product may link to or connect with third-party services (the platforms you integrate, for example, or the identity and hosting providers named in our Privacy Notice). Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, and we're not responsible for them, though we choose our sub-processors carefully and hold each to a data-processing agreement.

9. Your responsibilities and indemnity

When you connect a tool, you confirm you're entitled to access that account and its data. When you or a teammate signs in, you're responsible for keeping those credentials confidential and for activity that happens through the account, as set out in Section 2.

You agree to use Velur lawfully and in good faith, and to cover us against claims that arise from your misuse of the service, a breach of these terms, or credentials you failed to keep secure.

10. No warranty

Velur is early and is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind while in beta. We don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every figure is exact, though that's exactly what we're building toward.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Velur is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the website or product while in beta. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited under applicable law, including your statutory rights.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain and the European Union. We'd always rather resolve any issue directly first, so please contact us before anything formal. Where it applies, EU consumer-protection law and your local rights still stand.

13. General, changes and contact

We may assign these terms as part of a sale or reorganisation; you may not assign yours without our consent. If any part is unenforceable, the rest still applies. If these terms change, the "last updated" date will reflect it, and continued use means you accept the update. Questions go to hello@velur.io.
