Exporting segment aggregates
DraftThe one export velur has today: a segment's stored aggregates, as CSV.
What you can export today
One thing: a retention segment's aggregates, as a CSV file, from Segments in the console. There are four segments, and each is a stored aggregate with a written definition:
- Gone quiet: no order in the segment's quiet window, and at least one order ever
- Retained by contract: an active subscription on the day
- Retained by choice: two or more orders and no active subscription
- One and done: exactly one order, across all cohorts
What is in the file
One header row and one row of figures: the segment, its definition, the date the aggregate is as of, the number of customers, its net value in cents, your currency and the calculation version.
Nothing personal is in it. There is no customer, no order and no line item, because the export reads the stored aggregate and computes nothing of its own. The calculation version is in the file so a spreadsheet from March still says which arithmetic produced it.
What does not exist yet
There is no general export of your data, and no read-only link to share a figure or a page. Neither is built. When one is, it is written up here.
